During Currier’s 15-plus years in the bridge industry, which includes over a decade of work with the Georgia Department of Transportation, Gwinnett, Cobb, Dekalb, and Fulton counties, and others, he has helped to shape transportation systems and networks in the state — and across the Southeast — while delivering projects on time and on budget.
Currier joins Garver Transportation Team Leader Jeff Clayton, PE, who also spent time as an embedded consultant for the GDOT’s bridge program management office, amid a growing team of transportation experts based in two Georgia offices.
“Nathan will add to Garver’s 105-year tradition of project delivery in bridge design, inspection, rehabilitation, and repair,” Clayton said. “His work with GDOT and others combined with Garver’s deep bench of transportation experts, who deliver for DOTs across the country, will bring immense value to the state’s growing transportation systems.”
Currier’s arrival positions Garver to better serve state, county, and municipal agencies. Backed by Garver’s growing team of bridge engineers, he will have the opportunity to deliver a variety of bridge design projects, including steel spans, prestressed concrete spans, accelerated bridge construction, and more. At Garver, he will have access to experts across the footprint in roadway, traffic, H&H, environmental, and program management.

“I’m pleased to have devoted more than 10 years addressing Georgia’s need for expanded infrastructure,” Currier said. “And I’m excited to continue that commitment with Garver, a nationwide firm with a long history of dedicated client service and extensive resources.”
