NASHVILLE, TN — RNGD, a commercial construction services company, has expanded its presence in Nashville, Tennessee, with the opening of the first phase of its new self-developed local office. Located about 1 mile southeast of downtown, the new space is housed in a 4,000-square-foot building that previously served as an automobile repair and maintenance facility. RNGD purchased the single-story building on a 1-acre site to accommodate its growing local team and provide flexibility for potential future expansion.
Nashville-based Powell served as architect in transforming the building into an open, collaborative office environment, and RNGD led construction of the adaptive reuse project.
“Our team is thrilled to establish deeper roots in Nashville while contributing to the revitalization of an industrial neighborhood that’s poised for redevelopment,” said D.J. Benedetto, RNGD Nashville Operations Team Leader. “We look forward to expanding our partnership with clients, architects, and other project partners in Nashville for many years to come.”
Since opening an office in west Nashville in 2021, RNGD has overseen a broad range of commercial construction projects, demonstrating its expertise in adaptive reuse and historic renovations; hospitality and entertainment spaces; warehouse and industrial/manufacturing projects; and affordable housing and multifamily developments.
“The Nashville construction community has been welcoming and supportive to our team, and we’re eager to continue supporting the region’s growth and redevelopment,” said Nick Moldaner, RNGD Chief Operating Officer.
